{"id":5828,"date":"2025-11-27T11:58:20","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T10:58:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wearevoilart.com\/?p=5828"},"modified":"2025-11-27T12:04:51","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T11:04:51","slug":"vuelve-rauschenberg-a-la-fundacion-juan-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wearevoilart.com\/en\/2025\/11\/vuelve-rauschenberg-a-la-fundacion-juan-march\/","title":{"rendered":"Rauschenberg returns to Fundaci\u00f3n Juan March"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The North American artist Robert Rauschenberg comes back forty years later to the <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n Juan March<\/strong> in Madrid in this temporary exhibition titled: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.march.es\/es\/madrid\/exposiciones\/robert-rauschenberg-uso-imagenes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Robert Rauschenberg: the usage of images<\/a><\/em>, coinciding with the centenary of his birth.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A multifaceted artist <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert Rauschenberg had a very varied trajectory: he <strong>experimented several styles<\/strong>, such as abstract expressionism or neodadaism, being also an artist linked to the transition into Pop Art Nonetheless, <strong>he was capable of developing a quite personal style<\/strong> which would provide his work with a recognisible identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stood out, among other things, for using <strong>different techniches<\/strong> such as collage, serigraphy or transfer. Moreover, he developed  <strong>diverse formats<\/strong>, creating photographs, combined paintings or three-dimensional artworks. Own work.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">His &#8220;preoccuppation with photography&#8221;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This exhibition offers a <strong>reinterpretation of Rauschenberg&#8217;s work<\/strong> through a lense connected essentially to <strong>photography,<\/strong> with examples that cover almost fifty years and introduce us into his artistic universe, understanding it as an <strong>eminently photographic project<\/strong>. Through these artworks we can observe his vision on the world that surrounded him, consisting in a constant unfolding of images. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Hazel Larsen Archer was tutoring him at the <strong>Black Mountain Collage<\/strong>, he got closer to the world of photography, and alternated the pictorial practice with the photographic practice.
