We wrapped up October after a month filled with new experiences. Among this month’s activities, we explored what art can teach us about leadership and teamwork, delved into the connection between art and emotions, and discovered the traditions of Mexico’s Day of the Dead.
Alongside these experiences, we enjoyed visits to art galleries, a trip to Abadía Retuerta, and our regular tours of museums and cultural spaces. Each offered a different opportunity to share perspectives, exchange ideas, and continue learning together.
Art and Leadership: An Exclusive After-Hours Visit to the Reina Sofía

How can art contribute to leadership and stronger teams? With this question in mind, we designed a bespoke experience for DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Executives: an exclusive, after-hours visit to the Reina Sofía Museum, with a specially curated tour connecting works from the collection to the challenges of people management.
Guernica was our starting point. Throughout the visit, the artworks encouraged reflection on how a shared vision is built and the value that diverse perspectives bring to teamwork.
The artists’ stories, influences, and collaborations offered a fresh perspective on creativity and change, taking these conversations beyond the usual workplace setting.
El ArteSano: Art and Emotions with Pablo Ortiz de Zárate

On October 15, we hosted the presentation of El ArteSano by Pablo Ortiz de Zárate at Ponce+Robles Gallery, as part of a Club Voilàrt event open to the public.
Pablo shared his method for looking beyond first impressions and exploring the emotions that a work of art can evoke. He also highlighted the value of experiencing art together and how listening to different interpretations can help us discover new details and broaden our perspectives.
Photography, Traditions and Wine
This month, we swapped our usual gallery tour for a visit to Martin Parr: A Matter of Taste at Marc Bibiloni Gallery. An opportunity to explore the British photographer’s work in greater depth and appreciate his distinctive perspective on everyday life and consumer culture.

We also visited Casa de México to explore different traditions and cultures. There, a guided tour of the Altar de Muertos (Day of the Dead Altar) gave us the opportunity to learn about the meaning behind its symbols and offerings, and discover a tradition that honours memory and pays tribute to those who are no longer with us. An experience that broadened our understanding of the world.

October also took us to Valladolid, where we enjoyed a private visit to Abadía Retuerta to explore its winery, with over 30 years of history, and discover its beautiful surroundings. A day spent exploring, with wine culture at the heart of the experience.

Our Classics and What’s Coming in November
Alongside these activities, throughout October we continued offering our regular museum visits and cultural tours around Madrid, led by art history experts. These experiences are part of Voilàrt’s year-round programme and are designed for individuals, groups, and companies looking to discover the artworks and the stories behind them.
In November, we will meet again with Pablo Ortiz de Zárate, this time at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. Following the presentation of El ArteSano, this visit will be an opportunity to put his ideas and methodology into practice in front of the artworks themselves, exploring the emotions they evoke.
We will also enjoy an exclusive after-hours visit to the Prado Museum and a postcard-making workshop, offering the chance to experience the creative process and make something of our own.
